I TEND TO GIVE YEARS A NAME
2014 WAS MY YEAR OF E-MAIL MADNESS—I’M STARTING 2015 AS THE YEAR OF THE GREAT E-MAIL PRUNE
Much like the Chinese have the ‘Year of The Monkey’ and so on—I like to name years. I’m not too serious about this—and sometimes forget what name I have come up with—but I find it is a handy way of recalling the shape and tone of the year.
I probably should call 2014 The Year of The Fall because I injured myself badly and painfully in April, but since I am now recovered, it is the ridiculous amount of e-mail I have received which has registered most.
I haven’t made any resolutions—which I’m going to reveal—for 2015, but I can report that I have been pruning my incoming e-mail ruthlessly, and seem to be making some progress.
Less is more!
MY SISTER LUCY’S PHOTOGRAPHY GOES FROM STTRENGTH TO STRENGTH. THIS BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IS MY NIECE, FAITH.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL
