LIFE IS (HUGELY) A GAMES OF WORDS—AT LEAST AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED
The above thought came to me as I was re-reading yesterday’s blog. I normally do that in order to spot—and correct—my more egregious errors, and to give myself a jumping-off point for the next blog. The latter is not, strictly speaking necessary, since most of my blogs are self-contained, so I suspect my real reason is to see whether the blog in question works.
What does ‘works’ mean? It means: Does it entertain, inform, amuse, and communicate? Are you, the reader, a little wiser about me and my ideas now you have read it? Does it convey my thoughts into written words as well as I wish?
Is the bloody thing any good?
There are people I love, people I care for greatly, vistas that melt my heart, and issues which I feel passionately about—but, in the final analysis—words are my world.
And I love it so.
